The Boundary County Sheriff’s Office jail has once again met the standards and received certification from the Idaho Sheriff’s Association Jail Standards for being in compliance. Being in compliance reduces the liability on the county and ensures the standards are in place for the proper care and operation of the detention center.
In an older jail, it has not been an easy task meeting the standards over the last eight years. We are thankful to all of the detention deputies for helping accomplish these goals, and to the commissioners for their involvement with the sheriff’s office.
