Expect snow Friday

The National Weather Service, Spokane, has issued a winter weather advisory for snow over North Idaho and northeast Washington, in effect from 9 a.m. Friday to 10 a.m. Saturday.

The advisory calls for two to five inches in North Idaho valleys and up to eight inches above 3,000 feet.
