It started with a dream. Dathan and Alexis Senn have four children and raising them in a small town definitely has its great aspects, but also a few down sides. One of the downs they found was that there were few places for their teenage children to go to release energy and have fun in a safe and controlled environment.

After many months of praying and planning, CQB Underground was born. Close Quarter Battle, or CQB as it is more commonly known, is North Idaho’s only indoor airsoft arena. Located at 6426 Kootenai Street, Unit B, Bonners Ferry. CQB Underground strives to provide, reasonable rates, quality experiences, and accessible hours for families all over the county. You will often find groups oens and young adults lining the surrounding streets with their cars to spend a few hours with their buddies having some good, clean fun.

The Senns started CQB Underground in the summer of 2021 and quickly realized that merchandise was another fun way to advertise and clothe the frequenting kids and their friends and families.

Squirrelly TeesDathan has always enjoyed graphic design and suddenly another idea was formed. In no time at all, the praying and planning for Squirrelly Tees had begun.

In January of 2024, just one year ago, Dathan and Alexis opened their small shop at the fairgrounds location, but quickly out-grew it and were on the hunt for a new place to call home. In October of 2024, just nine months after opening, Squirrelly Tees moved to their new location right next to Riverside Auto in downtown Bonners Ferry.

“Squirrelly Tees specializes in custom apparel for businesses, sports, family reunions and anything else you can dream of.” Alexis says of their new business. “We truly enjoy working with our clients to bring their ideas to life.”

Squirrelly Tees has a whole area of the shop dedicated to creating your own custom hats with patches and have just started customizing tumblers and other beverage containers. They have a section dedicated to Badger gear from custom leather patches to hoodies and more. They are so happy to serve their community and look forward to doing so for many years to come.

You can visit Squirrelly Tees downtown at 6471 Bonner Street, Bonners Ferry, or learn more on their Facebook page; Squirrelly Tees, on their website at squirrelly-tees.com, or by calling (208)  304-8603.
