Boundary County School District 101 Superintendent Jan Bayer issued notice this evening that the district has not authorized the “Lead by Example: Fund School Athletics” Go Fund Me Account established by Travis and Samantha Wisberg.
The donations are not being solicited by the school district.
The account is seeking to raise $1,500 to make up some of the difference after the last school levy failed and to prove supporters of the levy are willing to give voluntarily, with all donations earmarked for district athletics programs.
The school board will run the Maintenance and Operations Levy that failed in November on the next Idaho election Day May 20.
