Winter storm warning all day Friday

The National Weather Service, Spokane, has issued a winter weather warning for heavy snow in Boundary and Bonner Counties, in effect from 7 a.m. Friday to 10 a.m. Saturday, with four to nine inches of snow expected in the valleys and one to two feet in the mountains.
Such snowfalls could make driving extremely difficult or impossible, and could topple trees into powerlines and across roads, sparking fires, blocking roads and causing power outages.
A storm warning means danger is imminent and steps to mitigate potential impacts should be taken immediately.
