Preliminary hearings for Richard and Katherine Cowell, Bonners Ferry, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday, March 17, in the Bonner County Courthouse before of Judge Tera Harden.
The married couple remain incarcerated in Bonner County following their arrest in Boundary County last month on multiple sexual abuse charges.
The case is being tried by the Bonner County prosecutor’s office as Richard Cowell is the brother of Bonners Ferry Police Chief Willie Cowell, who filed the complaint that led to charges being filed by the Boundary County Sheriff’s Office.
The hearings will not be live streamed. 9B.News will be in attendance to provide coverage.
