A 74-year old Naples man was found lying in the snow in a remote area on Southside Road near Star Creek in Montana about three miles east of the Montana/Idaho state line Sunday. His vehicle was found about in Idaho about two miles west of the state line, stuck in deep snow, and initial indications are that he died of exposure trying to walk out.

Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office personnel responded when a caller reported at about 2:59 p.m. March 23 that his son found the man while driving on Southside Roads. Members of David Thompson Search and Rescue the deputy Lincoln County Coroner responded to the scene and helped recover the body of Timothy Wall.

On Monday, Lincoln County investigators were joined by Boundary County Sheriff’s deputies and located Wall’s pickup about five miles east of where Wall’s body was found.
