Accurate Northwest Auto Body was purchased from Kay Burdick by Eric Donenfeld and Cory Donenfeld in October of 2023. Eric and Cory’s father, Mel started Northwest Auto Body in 1976. The duo has been immersed in the business from very early on and although they left town after high school to further their education, soon after returned to Sandpoint to continue on with the family business.
Eric and Cory expanded the business to add Ponderay to the Northwest Auto Body Family nine years ago and just a year ago, rounding it out with the Bonners Ferry shop.
Northwest Auto Body has a reputation for being the best around, winning nearly all of the Best of Bonner County promotion the last 24 years and they are excited to add Boundary County’s Accurate Northwest Auto Body to their repertoire.
Their commitment to service in all aspects is forefront in the hearts and minds of the owners, managers and employees alike.
“The number one priority is to take care of the community.” Bonners Ferry shop manager, Casey Gannon says; “Service is priority. We love our customers, and our goal is to bring their vehicle back to pre-accident condition.”
Each November, each shop holds “Deer-vember”. “Deer-vember” is the whole month of each November Accurate Northwest Auto Body donates $50.00 per repaired vehicle impacted by an animal strike. Last year, the Bonners Ferry shop took care of 31 animal strikes for “Deer-vember” and donated that money to the Food Bank.
From helping the senior center when they ran out of meat, to donating to the food banks and adopting a stretch of highway, Northwest Auto Body takes care of their community.
