Dr. Hank Willis, DDS, a long time Boundary County resident and local beloved dentist, has a heart for the hurting. He has served on a number of dental mission trips over the years and now it’s time to bring the mission locally.
“We love our community, and this is our way of giving back; by offering a service to people who really need it and haven’t had access to care.
We did a couple of free clinics during COVID because a dental mission trip to a refugee camp in Lebanon that I was planning to attend was canceled. I couldn’t serve abroad, so it gave us the idea to serve our local community members who are in need. It was successful free clinic, and we got a lot of people out of pain. This clinic has been a long time coming and we are so excited to offer it again this year.” Dr. Willis explains.
The primary goal is to serve those who truly have both a financial and a dental need.
On April 28, 2025, Dr. Willis will be having a free dental day at his office in Bonners Ferry. While Dr. Willis will be offering extractions and some fillings; the hygienists have offered their services for cleanings.
The free care will be by appointment and on a walk-in basis as time allows.
