Elroy Joseph “Roy” Crum, 69, passed away on Saturday, March 1, 2025, in Sandpoint. Graveside services witeh military honors will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 14, at the Grandview Cemetery in Bonners Ferry.
Roy was born to Elroy and Ester Belle Crum on August 2, 1955, in Bonners Ferry. He was raised in Bonners Ferry and joined the Army, serving in Germany as a Hawk Missile Commander. After serving in the military, he began his logging career and logged in Idaho, Montana, Oregon, Washington and Alaska.
Roy loved to fish, hunt, and read He was also a big Star Trek fan.
Roy was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, David Lee and Donny.
He is survived by children, Randy, Jessica, Michael, Joshua and Mathew, sisters Clara, Sue and Rena and granddaughter Ashleigh.
