Meeting set to form Copeland Grange

A community informational meeting about starting a new Grange charter in Boundary County will be held at 6 p.m. Friday, April 18, at the Copeland Community Hall, 3208 Highway 1, Bonners Ferry, and organizers want everyone there!

On December 4, 1867 in a small Washington, D.C., building that housed the office of William Saunders, Superintendent of Propagating Gardens in the Department of Agriculture, the Order of Patrons of Husbandry, more commonly known as the Grange, was born.

Whether you’re a long-time or new resident of the amazing Copeland community, the Grange is the perfect organization to connect with your neighbors, build family traditions, learn skills together, and make a real difference!

The Grange is a family organization rooted in rural American history providing a network of people across the country to support people and the issues that matter to them!

This is family friendly, so bring everyone!
