Hannah Sucsy had a dream; a dream that would not soon enough come true. For nearly 15 years she was held back by echoes of what others might think, “It’s just art” … “get a real job.” The voices, though some her own, didn’t know who she was. She eventually heard a softer voice, barely a whisper. “A dream that can be fulfilled is not just a dream, It’s a reality.”
And that’s what happened.
Two years ago, after what seemed like a lifetime of dreaming and planning and saving, it finally came true. On April 26, 2023, Teascarlet Fine Art opened its doors and with grit and determination, Hannah had persevered and overcome the naysayers.
“We all want to feel seen.” Hannah says of customers who come to see her art, “What speaks to them is the most gratifying thing to see.”
Come join Hannah from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, April 26, for the second anniversary celebration with mimosas in the morning and beer and wine in the afternoon. There will be no charge for the drinks. Hannah at Teascarlet is excited to see you all, hear what art has done for you and tell you all about the gallery and the art she has created.
Many of you may be familiar with her original painting, ‘Blaze.” It was in a few different shows in New York and then made it to its’ new home, right here in Bonners Ferry.

Reproductions will be showcased and 28 limited edition reproductions on paper and canvas will be available for purchase starting at $65. If you would like to have first option for a copy of “Blaze’ you can join the email list, teascarletfineart@gmail.com, and get access two days early.
A little bit from Hannah about ‘Blaze’:
“Blaze isn’t just a painting of a dahlia, it’s a reflection of the fire inside each one of us. It represents that piece of our soul that longs for more and is driven to create. The bright and fiery oranges embody the resilience and tenacity it takes to keep on blooming despite the storms. This is my very first limited-edition release of my fine art prints, which makes it extra special. Do you need a visual reminder to keep pursuing the thing that sets your soul on fire? I’m pretty sure this is it.”
Everything in the gallery, save two paintings, is for sale. So come out on the April 26th, celebrate Teascarlet’s two years in bloom, see something that speaks to you and buy it!
