Yesterday on the ball field, a military appreciation game was played. The National Guard supplied each player and coach with commemorative jerseys and our very own veteran, and super Badger fan, Ron Smith, thew out the honorary first pitch.

It was quite the event. With nearly fifty years of Badger pride under his belt, Ron was honored to start the evening on the mound. With the Badger’s trusty catcher, Keenan Maas behind the plate, Ron started the evening off with a pitch that will not soon be forgotten.

The Badgers walloped the Wildcats in another non-conference game to end the game last night. The Badgers were strong from the start and ended the game 12-2 bringing their season record to 5-9.

The Badger’s JV baseball team will play at Post Falls High school in a double header, Monday, April 21st starging at 3 p.m. The Varsity’s next game will be Friday, April 25th versus their only league opponent, the Timberlake Tigers, at the Badger’s home field for a double header starting at 2 p.m.
