9B.News gratefully welcomes comments on articles and letters to the editor on any subject of topical interest subject to the following policies.
9B.News will no longer accept letters to the editor or article comments submitted without the author’s first and last name and general location of residence, plus a valid email for verification.
Those who would prefer anonymity may so request in writing at the head of each letter or comment submitted, with a brief explanation stating why anonymity is requested. If not granted, the author will be afforded the opportunity to withdraw their submission.
We reserve the right to refuse letters from anyone, without notice or explanation, and to edit anything submitted for style and/or clarity.
9B.News will not publish letters that are profane, defamatory or libelous. If you are writing in response to something published previously with which you disagree, challenge the content, not the author.
Letters to the editor can be submitted by email to katie@9b.news or mailed to 9B.News, 856 Roosevelt Road, Bonners Ferry, ID 83805. To comment on an article, use the comment form at the foot of the article.
I don’t think it’s right to sit in the peanut gallery of anonymity and make comments about anything or anybody. Not using your name in my opinion gives the opinion no credibility.
