Rotary hosts free CommUNITY Breakfast and Auction

On May 3 the Rotary Club of Bonners Ferry’s annual free CommUNITY Breakfast and Auction will be held at the Boundary County Fairgrounds from 8:30 to 11 a.m. There will be a new and expanded meal for you to choose from.

Many donated items from far and wide will grace the tables in the exhibit hall and memorial hall ready for your generous bids.

All monies collected will be deposited directly into the yearly Rotary scholarship program.

Come out and join the Rotary club, this Saturday at 6567 Recreation Park Road, have a delicious breakfast and support the future of Bonners Ferry.

  1. Marty Becker here. I came up with the idea for the Free CommUNITY breakfast many years ago. The Boundary County Property Owners Association & the Better Boundary County Coalition were on opposite sides of several community issues…especially as it relates to schools. That said, the entire community came together when someone really needed help. Power in unity.

    That’s why when a group of us started the free breakfast as a community get together, we purposely named & spelled it CommUNITY.

    So glad that Rotary took it over and has kept it going!
