That’s a wrap. The Lady Badgers had seven wins and ten losses this season but so much experience and life lessons learned.
“We’ve had a great season.” Head coach Cindy Sumpter says, “As a team, we have overcome many challenges this year and we are better because of it. I have enjoyed watching these young women work together and support each other on and off the field. I am so proud of this team, and I know they will work hard to

accomplish their goals in life. Jaydin Falck and Alaina Schmier will be graduating this month. They are great leaders, and it wouldn’t have been a successful season without them. It was a pleasure coaching them and I am so excited to watch them both succeed as they move on to the next season of their lives.”
Freshman, Hannah Frago led the Lady Badgers in RBI’s this season with 16 and from the mound. Freshman Ryelle Short led the team with 25 hits and 25 runs bringing the team totals to 142 hits with 125 runs.
The lady Badgers are a young team. With only two seniors headed off to the next phases in their lives, the future is bright for Badger Softball and the hope for an even more successful season is on the horizon.
Go Badgers!
