The ISDA Watercraft Inspection station now open in Bonners Ferry

The Idaho State Department of Agriculture’s Watercraft Inspection Station operated by the Boundary Soil and Water Conservation District in Bonners Ferry is officially open for the 2025 season.

Located on U.S. Highway 95 off Ash Street, the station operates daily from 5:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and will remain open through October 1. All northbound traffic hauling watercraft is required by Idaho state law to stop for inspection.

Additionally, any out-of-state boater must stop before launching, regardless of their direction of travel.

In an effort to better serve the boating community, the station will begin selling Invasive Species Stickers starting next week—stay tuned for more details.

These inspections are critical in the fight to protect Idaho’s waters from invasive species. Remember: Clean. Drain. Dry.
