Second Chance Animal Adoption hosted their customer appreciation event on Saturday complete with the Girl Scout troop volunteering and four of their fuzzy friends being adopted out. Second Chance would like to thank each and every one that came out to visit, volunteer and adopt.
“It was a great success.” Board member Stephanie Chase said, “Even our longest resident dog, Bruno was adopted!”
The Girls Scouts were a great help. They volunteered in the thrift store, sorting clothes and toys and spending time with the animals.
Girl Scout troop leader, Susie McDonald added, “I am utterly delighted and immensely proud of each girl who attended.”
Girl Scout mom, Shina Morris stated “I can’t believe the hospitality that was offered to everybody while we were at Second Chance. Nothing seemed too much as they constantly offered us drinks and to come in out of the heat. It was a really fun afternoon which my daughter’s thoroughly enjoyed.”
