South Boundary, North Bench, Paradise Valley and Hall Mountain Fire Departments all responded to an early morning residential fire on Bethlehem Road Sunday. Initially reported as partially involved, the home was a total loss, the family displaced and suffering significant loss despite the best efforts of all involved.
Those who would like to help the family are encouraged to call Boundary County dispatch, (208) 267-3151, extension 0, to request the number of the Boundary County Chaplain’s Corps member on call, contact North Bench Fire District, (208) 267-8674, or Hope House, (208) 946-9947.
Brandon Bales is asking the community to help his parents who lost their dream home to the fire. The house was nearing completion when the Bales awoke to the smell of smoke and sound of alarms. Thankfully everyone made it out okay, but the house was completely destroyed. To make things worse, because the house wasn’t complete, the Bales do not have insurance to cover this loss.
“This house is everything they have worked for and earned over the years, not to mention the man and woman hours put into building the house by countless family members and people helping my parents,” Brandon wrote.
A GoFundMe account has been established for the family at https://www.gofundme.com/f/gfzgp-help-rebuild-parents-home-after-fire
