Donna Lee Roberts Galles passed away peacefully in her sleep on April 27, 2025. She was born May 22, 1933 to Victor Clarence (Red) Roberts and Myrtle Viola (Reese) Roberts in Craigmont, Idaho in the home of Martin and Tot Jarnigans.
She attended her first couple years of grade school at the Slickpoo Mission on Mission Creek in Culdesac, Idaho. The family then moved to Lewiston Orchards to a 40-acre fruit orchard, and she attended Orchards Elementary and graduated from Lewiston High School in 1951. She went to work for AT&T Telephone Co. as a switchboard operator.
Donna married Ernest Feucht on September 12, 1955. The couple drove to Klamath Falls, OR the same day to start their lives together. Ernie was at Oregon Tech for two years while Donna worked at Klamath Hospital, ER Admissions. They welcomed their first daughter, Karla, in June 1956. Ernie finished machinist school, and they moved back home to Lewiston where they welcomed their second daughter, Julie, in September 1958. They later divorced.
Donna found herself raising her girls on her own. She went to work at JC Penney fabric department then moved on to Plywood Distributors as a bookkeeper for a number of years. They sold to CA Lumber so she went to work at Potlatch Whitehouse. She met and married John Lynch after the girls were grown. She retired and moved to Bonners Ferry in 1991. Later on, John passed away. She enjoyed her summers on the Oregon Coast. She later married Ed Galles and enjoyed traveling with him until his passing in 2001. She continued traveling to the coast throughout her later years.
Donna is survived by: her two daughters, Karla (Doug) Williams of Dalton Gardens, ID and Julie (John) Fawcett of Seattle, WA; four grandchildren Malinda (Nick) Becker, Kyle (Mandi) Ferguson, Tom Fawcett, Michael (Kaci) Williams; four great-grandchildren Kylie Street, Graci Weber, Korbin Ferguson, Aubrey Williams; and one great-great-grandson Travis Street.
In accordance with her wishes, no service will be held, and burial will take place at Grandview Cemetery in Bonners Ferry, ID.
