Gentry, Daley Restorium employees of the month

Connie Gentry and Aiden Daley

Connie Gentry and Aiden Daley are the Ray Olson We Care employees of the month at the Boundary Community Restorium.

Connie Gentry; May recipient, is a Med tech (PSA2) and has worked at the Restorium since September 12, 2012, going on 13 years. Her commitment and thorough work has been well appreciated by co-workers and residents. She is familiar with all the residents and knows their individual needs, likes and dislikes. She enjoys visiting with the residents that she knew before they moved in to Restorium, and has created closer friendships with them since their admission. She is a valued employee at the Restorium, and we are grateful to have her here as a leader and guide to our newer employees. We hope she enjoys being here until she is able to retire.

Aiden Daley; June recipient, is a PSA1 (personal service assistant) who started employment at Restorium March 26, 2025. He has quickly fit in and is a competent employee. He has a compassionate heart and interacts kindly and mannerly with our residents. Both staff and resident groups are happy to have him here until he moves on to further his education, and thank him for his good work ethic and kindness while he is here, serving the elderly community.

In addition to the certificate, both were awarded a $50 check from the Friends of the Restorium, a month’s parking in the dedicated Ray Olson Employee of the Month parking spot, a $30 gift certificate to the Springs Restaurant contributed by the Kootenai River Inn and a beautiful bouquet of fresh flowers grown, arranged and donated by grower/owner Paula Rice and the floral artists at Bee Haven Flower Farm.

Ray Stanley Olson and his wife, Hazel, were long-time residents of the Community Restorium, where they found a home filled with loving, caring people. He stayed on after she passed, remaining active, planting the garden that produced fresh vegetables for the kitchen and beautiful flowers for residents and staff alike to enjoy. Before his passing January 23, 2016, he established the “We Care” award to recognize the wonderful staff members who contribute so much to making the Community Restorium such a warm and welcoming home.
