Todd Achilles a candidate worth listening to

When I was working to promote Prop 1 I did so by working through “Veterans for Idaho Voters.” One of my fellow veterans in that organization was Todd Achilles. At the time Todd was in the Idaho Legislature representing District 16.

Well, Todd has decided to run for Jim Risch’s Senate seat and he’s decided to do so as an independent. In making this decision he has resigned his seat in the legislature in order to campaign as an Independent.

Running as an Independent will be an uphill battle but I’ve come to know Todd and I believe he is up to the challenge and would make an excellent Senator.

At 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, August 12, at War Memorial Field Park, 801 Ontario Street, Sandpoint, Todd will be holding a town hall to introduce himself and listen to us in preparation for the campaign ahead. I’ll be attending and I would love to see a good turnout. You might even decide he is someone you could support even if you are a registered Republican or Democrat.
