Today is Sean’s 45th birthday! It’s not quite the birthday, he or anyone else thought he would be having, but it’s still his birthday none the less. Please join us in wishing him a very happy birthday!
Leslie wants Sean to know, “Happy birthday, to the man of my dreams! I love you so very much!”
And now, a little back story:
On June 19, Sean Comer suffered a massive stroke. He was life flighted to Kootenai Health in Coeur d’Alene where he was in a fight for his life. Physicians had told his fiancé, Leslie Stiles, that the prognosis is poor, so she was asking for the community, friends, family and everyone else, to pray.
On July 31, 2025, and there was good news reported from his fiancé, Leslie. Sean was able to communicate and was transferred to the advanced care hospital where he made little gains and gave hope to family and physicians alike.
Today, August 24, 2025, Sean was abruptly transported to Kootenai Health by ambulance from the nursing home where he currently lives, due to low oxygen levels, seizures, and upper respiratory symptoms. “Today is his 45h birthday, and it really sucks that I can’t be there with him, but I will be soon.” Leslie says. “His chest x-ray was clear, and they are sending him back to the nursing home with more information for the nurses on suctioning him.”
Sean still has quite the road ahead, but the family has hope!
