The 24th annual Bob Manley’s Friends of the NRA banquet is just around the corner. On September 20, 2025, friends of Bob Manley and friends of the National Rifle Association will gather together in unity for a non-profit, non-political and no membership required banquet to remember Bob, play games, eat, drink and win some prizes! The Kootenai River Inn will be catering again this year.
September 8, 2025, is the early-bird ticket purchase deadline and it is fast approaching. If you purchase your tickets by that date, you get double raffle vouchers, to enter all the drawings for donated items, purchased items and guns.
Volunteers are desperately needed to help on the board of directors’ long term to help plan, gather donations, sell tickets, run the fair booth every year, and organize the banquet. Currently, there are only five committed volunteers and it’s just not enough. At the banquet, volunteers are needed to run the games and sell tickets. Set up is covered, but tear down and clean up at the end of the night when everyone is worn out and ready to go home would be greatly appreciated.
This year, “The show must go on!” Chairman Heather Gemmrig says, “But next year may be a different story if we can’t get more commitment. Please email me at irishflower44@yahoo.com if you are interested in volunteering.”
The friends of Bob Manley and the friends of the NRA are looking for donations to raffle off at the banquet and they do not have to be gun related. They are looking for people to underwrite items from the standard package (items that the NRA provides for each banquet-people can give cash to pay for them, so they can make more money to give away in grants later).
