The Boundary County Sheriff’s Office is urgently seeking the public’s assistance in locating runaway twins, Kiya Jo Eliassen and Arianna Lynn Eliassen, who left their home in the area of Mt. Hall School, at approximately 2 a.m. Wednesday, August 27.
Kiya Jo Eliassen is a 10-year-old white female, approximately four feet, two inches tall, weighing 70 pounds, with blue eyes and blonde hair. She was last seen wearing white and black shorts and white slip-on shoes.
Arianna Lynn Eliassen is a 10-year-old white female, approximately four feet, two inches tall, weighing 70 pounds, with blue eyes and blonde hair. She was last seen wearing a white t-shirt, black shorts and blue tennis shoes.
The twins may be traveling on bicycles, one pink and one blue. They were last seen in the Mt Hall School area of Boundary County, and their current whereabouts are unknown. An Attempt to Locate (ATL) alert was issued to surrounding counties shortly after they left to aid in the search. The Sheriff’s Office is deeply concerned for their safety and is working diligently to locate them.
We are asking residents of Boundary County and surrounding counties, particularly those in the Mt Hall School area, to remain vigilant and report any sightings of the twins or their bicycles, or any information that may help locate Kiya and Arianna. The twins have a history of hiding in outbuildings, barns, and similar structures, so we urge residents in the Mt. Hall School area to thoroughly check these locations on their properties.
Additionally, the twins have been known to take food items, so please be alert for signs of missing food or other disturbances that may indicate their presence.
If you see either of the twins or have any information about their whereabouts, please contact the Boundary County Sheriff’s Office immediately at (208) 267-3151 or call 911.
Sheriff Office personnel have been actively conducting patrols without any success.
As of 10:30 a.m. today we are activating Boundary County Search and Rescue to assist in alerting neighbors and asking for assistance in searching outbuildings and private property.
The Sheriff’s Office emphasizes that the twins may be intentionally avoiding contact, which underscores the importance of community awareness. Please check your properties, including outbuildings, barns, wooded areas, or other locations where the twins might seek shelter, especially in rural areas near Mt Hall School. Be on the lookout for a pink or blue bicycle, which may be a key indicator of their presence. Any small detail could be critical in bringing them home safely.

The Boundary County Sheriff’s Office appreciates the community’s support and cooperation during this urgent matter. Updates will be provided as new information becomes available.
