Today is Mike’s birthday! He has been reporting in Boundary County for over 30 years. He has slowed down, but he still keeps himself busy building, polishing his rocks, making jewelry, helping and showing me how to report the news and helping me with the pesky system.

I have known Mike since he came here in the early 1990s. I worked in the high school office and he stopped by weekly for school and sports updates. Years later he worked across the hall from me in the Courthouse. He was always helpful when we had glitches in our PCs. I still ask him questions and he’s always prompt with his responses.
