The pledge of allegiance
If my memory serves me correctly, the Pledge of Allegiance has been a part of the public school day since 1999.
Idaho Code Title 33 Ch 16:
4) Every public school shall offer the pledge of allegiance or the national anthem in grades 1 through 12 at the beginning of each school day.
That is correct,however not all districts follow that. I have been in this district since 4th grade (a long time ago lol…). By junior high and high school it was not part of the curriculum. I would challenge you to start asking students of all ages to recite it to you.
