The Petersen family wants to extend a heartfelt, “Thank-you” to the community who has rallied behind them and supported them in so many ways.

She’s getting there!

Jennifer’s body was severely damaged in the collision, causing her to require numerous surgeries and therapies to put her back together. “She had another surgery, today, to rotate her left femur.” Her mom, Dione says, “Tomorrow, she will go through a full day of plastic surgery on her face to repair the fractures through every quadrant of her face and she will be unable to speak for a few weeks. It is an uphill battle, but she is strong. We are grateful that she has another day. Thank you, again, for all the prayers, donations, thoughts and gifts.”
