As winter draws nigh, seven Boundary County railroad crossings have been slated for maintenance beginning September 30 through October 14, each of which will require a day-long, 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. closure for area residents to plan for.
Crews will have steel plates available to place over the tracks if emergency vehicles need to cross.
Signage stating, “Local Traffic Only” means anyone living between the sign and the closure may proceed, provided their access point is before the closure. This is intended to reduce the number of vehicles needing to turn around at the crossing.

October 2, Lions Den Road
October 3, Mirror Lake Road
October 6, East Railroad Street, Moyie Springs
