Rusty Cordle Jr.’s life took an unexpected turn this week when he was forced to undergo an emergency quadruple bypass surgery on Tuesday. Rusty Jr. is the brother of Jason Cordle and son of Rusty and Laura Cordle all of Bonners Ferry.

“On Tuesday, October 7, Rusty underwent an unexpected and life-saving quadruple heart bypass. What began as what seemed like minor heart concerns quickly escalated – turning a routine stress test into an emergency surgery that none of us saw coming.
Just two days later, on October 9, Rusty has taken his first steps toward recovery — a hopeful sign of his strength and determination.
Rusty is 47 years old, a devoted husband, and a proud dad to two sons and a daughter-in-law. His recovery will take time, with doctors estimating 3 to 6 months before he can return to work and normal routines. In the meantime, his focus is on healing, while his family navigates the financial strain of medical bills and everyday expenses.
