Louis William Michalk III, 44, passed away Friday night, October 17, 2025, from lung cancer. Private arrangements are being made.
Louie’s favorite pastime was wearing the “I Love Jesus” shirts and hats that he designed and talking to everyone he could about his love of Jesus.
Louie is described by all who knew him as one of the kindest, most gentle souls who would give anyone the shirt off of his back. Louie had an infectious laugh and loved to make people smile.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Patricia Bable. He leaves behind his son, Louis Michalk IV (Sam), Bonners Ferry, grandson August Michalk, also of Bonners Ferry, twin sisters Heather Watson, Lawrence, Kansas, and Heidi Stockton, Bonners Ferry, brother James Michalk, Meridian, Idaho, and best friend Dominic Colis,Bonners Ferry.
He was loved. He will be missed.
I am sorry for your loss. I enjoyed teaching Louis at the junior high.
He was such a beautiful man. Fun. Kind. He loved his family. He loved his friends. God bless his family with peace. 🌸
