By Jodi HolmanCalling all Willy Wonka fans! This Thursday, Friday and Saturday November 6, 7 and 8, come and immerse yourself with Charlie Bucket and crew in the wonderful and strange world of Wonka.
This delightful musical, based on Roald Dahl’s book, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, will include all your favorites: Augustus Gloop, Veruca Salt, Violet Beauregarde, Mike Teavee, the Bucket family, Willy Wonka himself and his peculiar band of Oompa Loompas!
This large production has a cast of nearly 100 actors and is directed by the talented Kelly Collett, whose recent plays include The Pied Piper, Once Upon a Mattress, and Newsies. As a bonus, attendees will have a chance to find their own Golden Ticket and win a special surprise!Performances are this Thursday, Friday and Saturday night at 7 p.m., and Saturday afternoon at 2 p.m., all at the Bonners Ferry High School Becker Auditorium located at 6485 Tamarack in Bonners Ferry. Tickets are available at the door and cost $6 for students and seniors, and $8 for adults.
