Happy 250th birthday, Marine Corps

In 1775 in a Philadelphia bar called Tun Tavern, the United States Marine Corp was born. It was formed when the Continental Congress passed a resolution to raise two battalions of marines during the Revolutionary War.

November 10 was chosen as the day to recognize that day at the Tun Tavern and the legacy of honor, courage and commitment that the Marine Corp has shown for the last two and a half centuries.

Take a moment to recognize the Marines in your life and in your community.

Thank you for your service. Ooh Rah.
