At about 10 a.m. Wednesday, November 12, the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office received a report of suspicious activity involving several juvenile females and a 23-year-old adult male, identified as Layton Artigo.
LCSO detectives initiated an investigation and conducted several interviews with the females. A search warrant was applied for and executed at Artigo’s residence.
After the search warrant was executed, an arrest warrant was obtained for Artigo for tampering with or fabricating physical evidence.
Anyone with information regarding Artigo’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office detective division at (406) 293-4112. Artigo is described as 6’7” tall and weighs approximately 350 lbs.
Charges have been filed, the investigation is ongoing.
