BCH welcomes Holistic Pain Management to Bonners Ferry

Boundary Community Hospital (BCH) is proud to announce the addition of Holistic Pain Management (HPM) to its array of services, offering advanced, specialty healthcare to the residents of Boundary County and surrounding areas. Beginning November 26, HPM will operate from 8 a.m. to4:30 p.m. Tuesdays in Building C, Suite A, at the hospital, located at 6640 Kaniksu Street, Bonners Ferry.

HPM’s mission is simple: to provide pain relief close to home. For many patients in rural areas, chronic pain management often requires traveling long distances. With HPM’s arrival, personalized care and cutting-edge treatments will now be available in the local community, bringing much-needed relief to patients.

HPM’s expert team is led by Emilie Campbell, Nurse Practitioner, who will serve as the main clinic provider. Carlye Spaulding, CRNA, will be the primary interventionalist performing procedures, supported by Austin Miner, CRNA, who will serve as an alternate interventionalist. This highly qualified team is committed to delivering exceptional, patient-centered care to help individuals manage and overcome chronic pain.

HPM offers a comprehensive range of treatments designed to address various forms of chronic pain, including:

  • Corticosteroid Injections: Targeting inflammation and pain in areas such as the spine, shoulders, knees, hips, wrists, and other joints.
  • Radio-Frequency Ablations: A minimally invasive procedure to prevent pain signals from reaching the brain, often used for conditions like arthritis and nerve pain in the neck and lower back.
  • Nerve Blocks: Non-surgical pain control using targeted injections to relieve pain caused by arthritis, shingles, joint damage, and more.

HPM specializes in treating a wide range of chronic pain conditions, including:

  • Migraines
  • Neuralgia
  • Sciatica
  • Neck and back pain
  • Joint pain (shoulders, knees, hips, etc.)
  • Myofascial pain
  • Spondylolisthesis

HPM is designed for patients in Boundary County and neighboring areas who are seeking effective relief from chronic pain. This addition is expected to significantly improve the quality of life for patients by offering treatment options locally.
