UPDATE: 11:45 a.m. December 9: I have verified that the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office has notified the family that Stephanie has been found and that she is okay. The family sends heartfelt thanks to all who helped.

Stephanie Barlow, 74, left her home on Highway 2 west of Troy at about noon Saturday, December 7, driving a 2006 Chevy Colorado, gold and gray in color, Montana license plate 56-5221F. She didn’t return as expected and with another cold night on us, her family is extremely concerned for her safety.
She can’t see well, so driving in the dark is really hard for her.
All law enforcement in and around Lincoln County have been notified and her children have been out driving roads she frequented and visiting and calling area hospitals and people and places she went regularly, to no avail.
If anyone see Stephanie or her truck or knows where either might be is asked to call the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office at (406) 293-4112 or if it’s an emergency, 911.
