Rebecca Huseby is once again calling all carolers in the region to come over the rivers and through the woods by car or carriage or sleigh to join her on Christmas day to lift your voices and raise the spirits of those in our community who are missing the simple joys of their own Christmas traditions, as well those who selflessly forgo being home for the holiday to take care of them.
They start at 5 p.m. Wednesday, December 25, in the Extended Care Facility at Boundary Community Hospital, 6640 Kaniksu Street, Bonners Ferry, then it’s across the street at 6 p.m. to regale residents at the Community Restorium, 6619 Kaniksu Street.
Bundle up for the final stop as you’ll be singing outside, rosy cheeked and red nosed, at the Boundary County Jail, 6438 Kootenai Street in downtown Bonners Ferry.
Bring your smiles and your angel voices and let’s celebrate the true meaning of the season – the Christ of Christmas, peace on earth, goodwill toward men!” Rebecca said. “Shalom, and see you there!”
