Roger Eugene Plato, 67, passed away on August 8, 2025, in Apache Junction, Arizona. There will be a private interment at Grandview Century where he will be laid to rest next to his parents in the Plato Family plot.
He was born on March 18, 1958, in Bonners Ferry, Idaho and lived there until he graduated from high school After graduation – he enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps, where he served for nine years.
After military service he lived most of his adult life in California. He had recently moved to Apache Junction, and was enjoying his new home, joking and visiting with friends and neighbors in the retirement community he lived in.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Leland and Beverly Plato, and is survived by his brother Don Plato and sisters Carol Plato and Corinne Plato.
