As you gather with friends, family, and loved ones this month, a Burlington Northern Santa Fe locomotive adorned with the Stars and Stripes and a festive wreath may have rolled through your community or one nearby. As one of our most important traditions, we have once again partnered with J.B. Hunt and Wreaths Across America to deliver thousands of holiday wreaths to volunteers who lay them on veterans’ graves across the country, at sea, and abroad.

This year, BNSF and J.B. Hunt moved 314,600 wreaths, or 46 loads. This effort is one way we show up for the communities we are a part of, and extend a special honor to those who have made the ultimate sacrifice.

“Participating in this remarkable tradition is a profound honor for BNSF, and we solemnly anticipate continuing this tradition during the holidays year after year,” said Lena Kent, General Director of Public Affairs.

Wishing you a wonderful holiday and all the best in the new year.
