“Celebrating Idaho History Through the Eyes of Sacajawea,” 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, November 6, Portrait Hall, Boundary County Museum, 7229 Main Street, Bonners Ferry.

The Kootenai Tribe of Idaho in commemoration of Native American Month. in conjunction with the Boundary County Historical Society, present author and speaker Randy’L Teton, Shoshone-Bannock, official model for Sacajawea on the U.S. dollar coin released in 2000 .

Born and raised on the Fort Hall Reservation, Idaho, Randy’L is culturally active in her community and serves on various tribal and historical museum boards. She has travelled nationwide representing Sacajawea and her story.
