William Lee Tashoff, 80, a resident of Moyie Springs died Friday, September 19, 2025, in Bonners Ferry. He was born in Moyie Springs on November 15, 1944, the son of Louis and Ethel Ellan Bushaw Tashoff. He grew up on the family dairy farm. He married Betty Jean Gordon on October 23, 1971, in Newport, Washington. He loved guns and hunting, with Betty, elk, bear and grouse. He partnered with his brother Phil in the Tashoff Logging Company for many years. He was a member of the Mountain View Church in Bonners Ferry.
He is survived by a sister along with several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife Betty on March 31, 2013, sister Frances Rodne and brother Phil Tashoff.
