Winter weather in northwest Montana

Slick roadThe National Weather Service, Missoula, has issued a winter weather advisory for the Kootenai Cabinet and Lower Clark Fork regions of northwest Montana for snow, in effect from 8 p.m. today until 9 a.m. Friday.

Total snow accumulations of one to three inches are expected across the region, with up to four inches possible over Lookout Pass.

Expect slick driving conditions on Highway 2 from Kalispell to Libby, Evaro Hill, Highway 93 from Eureka to Whitefish, Highway 200 from Trout Creek to Heron, Highway 37 from Eureka to Libby, Highway 56 Bull Lake Road, I-90 Lookout Pass to Haugan, and Highway 200 from Thompson Falls to Plains.
