The Burlington Northern Santa Fe railroad crossing on Highland Flats Road will be closed from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday, April 2, for track repair, and crews will return the week of April 8 to add paving for a smoother crossing, closing one lane at a time as needed rather than a complete closure.
Reader boards with pre notification will be placed Thursday, March 29, on Deep Creek Loop and Highland Flats Road with closure information.
Detour route signage will be in place. Take Highland Flats Road via McArthur Lake Road to access Highway 95. Deep Creek Loop will remain open.
