Did you know that the Boundary County Fair operates with only five employees? Two are hired specifically for the summer months leading up to the fair. The rest of our dedicated team are volunteers, not only from Boundary County but also from Bonner and Kootenai Counties.
This year has been filled with exciting preparations for the fair, but one challenge remains: finding volunteers and superintendents for several departments. Without the generous contributions of our community members who donate their time, the Boundary County Fair wouldn’t be possible. Whether you have experience or not, we welcome you and will provide guidance every step of the way.
Currently, we have openings for three Superintendent positions: Farm Products/Home Products, Large Household, and Garments & Accessories/Small Household. Volunteers are needed daily in various roles throughout the fair.
