The Bonners Ferry High School Class of 1954 just attended their 70th class reunion Saturday! Organizer Verna Studer, the daughter of class member Irene Merrifield Rice, is trying to reach out to some of the classmates who couldn’t come and send them a greeting card and photo of the small group that attended.
People she is still having trouble finding are: Jerry Bauman, Caldwell or Eagle, Lavelle Lee Carter Turner, who last lived in Priest River, Bob Chervenell, (Phyllis Collyer’s brother), Irene Callahan, Nevada, Lois Cornell, Jerry Heitt, Tekoa, Washington, Harlen King Lund, Utah, Marilyn Jantz, Faye Kulczyk Beis, possibly of Minneapolis, Lenora Levig, possibly of Pennsylvania, Donna Pekarski Stuhr, possibly in Oregon, Eugene Swanson and Nina Tritt, sister of Earnest Tritt.
