Unfortunately, the season opener for Badger Football was not what anyone hoped for, with Lakeland taking the wins for both JV, 6-26, and varsity with the heartbreaking loss of 0-41.
JV and Varsity girls volleyball took on Stillwater Christian out of Kalispell and both Badger teams fought hard, but fell short, JV with 2-1 and Varsity 3-1.
The Badger Cross County teams took 4th out of 4 teams at Kiwanis Park in Post Falls on Saturday. Notably, Kylie Calderone was in the top 10 for the freshman/sophomore girls and Matisyn Stiern in the top 10 for the junior/senior girls.
Badger soccer had a stellar beginning of the season. The boys won 7-2 and the girls won 7-4 against the traveling Stillwater Christian Cougars.
