After four years of college and ROTC, Ben Tompkins was commissioned as a second lieutenant in the United States Army this week.
“This is a huge accomplishment and we are so proud of him,” said parents Rob and Anne Tompkins, Bonners Ferry. “Thank you for all the support he received from his family and friends, his support crew in ROTC and his fraternity family. He couldn’t have done it without them. I know he has forged many long lasting bonds and memories from this experience that he will carry with him. We love you Ben and excited for the future you have forged.”
Ben branched in Transportation and will be heading to the Army Logistics College, Ft. Lee, Virginia, where he will attend the Basic Officer Leadership Course.
