Save our local DMV

Boise is trying to close our local Department of Motor Vehicles office by making it cheaper to make your transactions online or by mail. If you walk in, you are penalized with a $6 fee.

I love having the personal service available at our local DMV office. Having a real person I know pick up the phone when I call and not sitting on hold for 15 minutes.

Please support our local government, businesses and providing local jobs to local people.

Walking in to our local office, being greeted by a smiling face I know and being helped by a caring neighbor is worth the extra $6 to me.

  1. Things that make you go hmmmmmmm … Why is it more expensive to do our DMV transactions in person? Where is that six bucks going? Ms. Peterson is right, the best thing about a small town is doing business locally. Let’s strive to keep our folks at the DMV open for us.
