In Europe, the game of soccer is called football. In Post Falls Monday in game 1 of the 2024 Intermountain League District4A boys soccer, the Badgers put up a score more akin to football, shutting out the St. Maries Lumberjacks 13-0! They’ll play Grangeville, who beat Timberlake 2-0 Monday, at 1 p.m. today on the south field, again a Real Life Field in Post Falls.
Priest River eliminated Orofino 2-0 on Monday, pitting them against #1 seed Coeur d’Alene Charter at 11 a.m. today.
The winners of today’s meets face off in Post Falls on the north field at 1 p.m. Wednesday.
