2nd Harvest free food distribution

The third 2nd Harvest free food distribution of the season will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Thursday, May 9, at the Boundary County Fairgrounds, sponsored by Trinity Lutheran Church. Cars should enter the fairgrounds from the Fourth Street entrance. No registration is necessary to pick up food, which usually includes staples, fresh produce, bakery, dairy and meat. Last month 258 families received 11,109 meals. Volunteers are always appreciated to help distribute food, too. These people should arrive at the west end of the fairgrounds by 10 a.m. the morning of the event.
